From start to finish, my dad and I didn’t have to do a thing but enjoy our time, and catch fish! Captain Fred thinks of everything you will need, and makes sure you understand what you are doing and explains things very thoroughly. Not only does he know the spots to take you, he will make sure he does everything to ensure you catch some fish! We got to watch a space shuttle launch this morning, along with manatees, and tons of beautiful wildlife! I will absolutely be booking with Captain Fred again in the future, and will be recommending him to everyone I know in the area! You will enjoy everything about the experience if you book with 2 Lagoon Charters!

He worked hard to find fish and cane through putting us on 3 different kinds of fish. Caption Fred's Mantawar is absolutely beautiful and outfitted to be a fishing machine. His knowledge and friendliness mixed with the vast variety of wildlife and scenery you will experience on this trip makes it a day to remember. 100% would recommend booking with Captian Fred.

We did as much as we could with him, Space Center , surfing lessons, putt putt, cart racing but the thing he has talked about for the the last 2 days is the fishing trip with Captain Fred. Captain Fred knew my main reason for fishing was Tristan and Fred searched until he found Tristan 3 Reds , two over 10 pounds. The weather wasn't good fishing weather, winds over 20, but a great trip for the both of us. Thank you Captain Fred!!! Look at the video to see the weather.

We ended up catching four...three redfish, which we had to throw back due to regulations, but we got one good size trout that we had for dinner! Beautiful day and nice time.

Captain Fred has fished the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoons for over 20 years! He enjoys putting anglers on a wide range of species in our shallow waters, from average size Reds, Trout, Black Drum, Snook and Tarpon (seasonal) to fish over 40 lbs – all in 6' or less of water. His number one objective is for everybody fishing with him to enjoy their day on the water, have tight lines and enjoy this awesome estuary! Captain Fred will work hard to make your trip memorable, he's laid back with a no pressure approach toward his anglers. All anglers are welcome from novice to experienced, especially kids! You'll find Captain Fred's skiff and fishing equipment well maintained and in good working order.
