Between the Espiritu Santo and Matagorda Bays, Edgewater Outfitters is perfectly located in Port O’Connor to explore the wealth of inshore fishing that southern Texas has to offer. You’ll be fishing the murky flats where the fish love to feast. Captain Mark Robinson is a true outdoorsman and is most at home when fishing or hunting fowl. With an Elite Redfish Series title to his name, he’s sure to get you reeling in the best and biggest.
Aboard a 25’ Simmons performance fishing boat, you’ll have an unrestricted view of the water around you and plenty of room to steady yourself as you try to reel in a great fish. Powered by a 350 HP Mercury engine, you’ll cut your way across the waters to get to the sweetest spots before you blink. When in the shallowest waters, the wireless trolling motor will kick into action to get you close and personal to the fish without spooking them.
The waters here are so shallow, you can follow Capt. Mark’s footsteps, quite literally, and wade fish. All around you will be Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, and Flounder, who will all prove a tough challenge, as well as a tasty treat at the end of the day. Whether wade fishing or drifting along the waters, you can bottom fish and jig with top of the range Waterloo rods, Lou’s reels, and FINS braided lines. The more adventurous of you can even try spearfishing!
All tackle and bait will be provided free of charge and you can take advantage of the cleaning and filleting service at the end of your trip to take home your catch with you for a rewarding meal. Edgewater Outfitters is all about the excitement and they’ll make sure your day is action-packed and fun-filled from start to finish. So hop aboard today and get hooked!

Great birthday fishing trip for my grandson. We caught many and got to keep enough big ones for dinner. Capt moved the boat around to keep us successfully catching. Great day.
