Happy Fisherman Charters
Explore the untouched crystal clear waters of the Caribbean with Happy Fisherman Charters. Offshore from the deser island of Cozumel, you’ll be alone for miles as you target enormous exotic fish in the open seas. Captain Alfonso Novelo is a 3rd generation fisherman from the island, so has salt water in his blood. He knows all the best spots and tricks to catch the biggest, and can’t wait to show you his secrets.
Leave the beaches behind aboard a luxurious 33’ Stapelton flybridge boat. Powered by a 285 HP Caterpillar 3208 engine, you’ll whizz to the hottest spots with only one thing in mind: fishing fun. The boat is comfortably furnished and you can take advantage of the multi-media system and connect your tunes. With drinks, including beers and Margaritas, served by the first mate, you’ll be glad there’s a toilet on board too.
When you reach the productive waters, you’ll troll from the onboard outriggers. Make use of the flybridge to spot your target fish, and settle into the fighting chair as you battle it out against a monster. From January thru July, magnificent Marlin and stunning Sailfish will be on offer. These are prized catches for even the most experienced of anglers, so you’ll have a great story to tell.
There are plenty of other exciting species to target too, and you can try bottom fishing for some world-famous fish. The rapid Barracuda and tough-fighting Wahoo will be a match for anyone after biting the end of the line. You could also catch plenty of Tuna, just be prepared for a huge struggle to reel in the biggest of them.
Whether it’s a delicious fish, or a great story to tell, you won’t leave empty-handed. The crew will clean and prepare your catch at the end of the day for you to take to a restaurant. After a long workout, settle down with a drink in hand and not a care in the world! Longer trips even include a feast of sandwiches and guacamole. A true Mexican experience awaits with Happy Fisherman Charters!
