You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take with you. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat. Enjoy it later that day or pack it away for months ahead.
Trips with Us are open to the whole family, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll find yourself aboard a 30' Sportfishing with room for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
