We chased down two blue Marlin on the sonar for an hour but unfortunately they wouldn’t take the lures. Our crew worked hard to get different baits out in challenging conditions. We hooked into a sailfish but unfortunately it got off when it jumped. The bites were really tentative for something so big and without the crew I would have thought it was dragging seaweed. We managed to land a large Mahi mahi though and it put up quite a fight on smaller tackle! It was a great experience and I’d highly recommend the Cannon crew, they really know what they’re doing.

We had a great time. Communication before the trip was excellent. Transportation to/from our hotel was a great bonus. Great crew. A few in our group tend to get seasick, so we went with the biggest boat, and no one got sick - hurray! We caught one fish, a mahi mahi, and got a few other nibbles. It was exactly what my dad wanted for his 70th birthday. I would book with them again.
