You'll be traveling on your captain's 26' Penn Yan flybridge vessel, built to transport up to 6 guests out to the hot spots – plenty of room for the whole family, or bring along your best angling buddies for the fishing competition of a lifetime! She's decked out with a private toilet, GPS and fishfinder, life jackets in a variety of sizes, and a flybridge. There's plenty of room on board for your favorite snacks and drinks, too, so bring them along.
Capt. David targets some of the best freshwater fisheries around, so you'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to the species on offer. Want plenty of hands-on action? Captain Dave is very dedicated to his profession and interacts well with his customers. We definitely recommend this charter!
My son and his friend mowed lawns all Summer so they could save up to go on a fishing trip. After extensive research, they chose Mainstream Fishing Charters and we were so happy they did. Our experience was excellent. The captain provided excellent communication about our trip in the week before and was on time and ready to go when we got there. He was keen to share his years of experience and expertise with us and the boys. In the end, both boys caught a big Muskie - exactly what we were hoping for. My dad and I were itching to go fishing and decided to go with Captain David! His focus, speed, and determination is impressive. His knowledge is extensive, he had every answer to my curiosities. We went home with 11 Walleyes, he tried real hard to get the goal of 12, but my father needed to tap out. Otherwise, he would have stayed working for the last Walleye until the very last minute. We are going with Captain David again in June, you should book with Mainstream Fishing Charters!

Captain Dave was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we stepped foot on the boat till the time we got back he was working his ass off. We caught our limit with 5hrs of dropping the first line. He couldn't even set up all the lines before the fish started hitting and twice we had multiple fish on. He's super knowledgeable and gave us pointers and tricks when fishing alone. Overall our experience was anmazing and would highly recommend using this charter. Thanks again Dave our catch was delicious!!!!

It all started at Capt. David Weil's grandfather's farm pond...within minutes he caught his first fish, a Largemouth Bass, and he was hooked! Since the early age of 6, Capt. David has developed and grown an extreme passion for the sport of fishing. He's been fishing the Great Lakes since his early childhood, and has had the pleasure of fishing and guiding on the Great Lakes, as well as many lakes throughout NW Ontario. He also has many hours of tournament experience fishing local tournaments, like Musky's Canada Belle river chapter opener and closer events, Big Boys Derby, Lasalle Walleye Classic and a few others. Capt. David is driven to ensure success every time he sets sail on the water, and we ensure you that you are in good hands!
