The abundance of wildlife goes beyond fish and you’re likely to see sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises, and depending on the time of year, even humpback whales or orcas.
Captain Lorenzo St Luce runs trips from March to October on his 26 ft Hewescraft Ocean Pro, can book up 4 and possibly 6 but need to call first. The boat is powered by a 360 HP Mercury engine and equipped with necessary navigational and safety gear.
Salmon is at the top of the target list for this area and there are many species to choose from. In winter you have the best chances of catching Blackmouth Salmon, while in summer you can target Chinook (King Salmon), Coho, Chum, and Pink Salmon. When you’re not going after Salmon, you can go bottom fishing for Flounder, and Lingcod.
Family flounder trips are best for families with children under 12.
Capt. Lorenzo will provide rods and reels, bait, water, and also clean your catch after the trip. The only thing you need to bring is a positive attitude, while the only thing you should not bring are bananas, since they’re bad luck!

Summer Family Flounder Trip on September 15, 2024
My husband and I used Lorenzo’s charter to experience fishing in Washington for the first time. We’re from Florida so we had no idea what to expect. Lorenzo made it such a fun time and we were able to catch more salmon than we can eat by ourselves! Being that we traveled across states, we had no fishing gear so it was an amazing addition that Lorenzo had everything we needed including a 1-day fishing license. He is a great guy and we would definitely come to Washington just to book with him again. You won’t regret booking your next fishing trip with him!

Ou No Worries fishing trip with Captain Lorenzo and first mate Liam was great! The boat, fishing navigation and equipment are nice. We caught seabass and rockfish but lingcod was elusive that day. Overall a great experience!

Lorenzo definitely got us onto the Coho salmon! We did catch fish and retained several. It was a lot of fun. Lorenzo is very personable and extremely knowledgeable about all the fishing regulations and the best places to catch different species of fish. He was very helpful with some of our physical limitations, and he's a great conversationalist, too! I would definitely recommend No Worries for a fun and productive fishing trip!
