Even though John, my guide, was very knowledgeable, fishing proved very difficult. During the three hours, there were only a few bites, resulting in only one bass being landed. John was professional, personable, and patient with my very rusty fishing skills.

He's worked hard to be able to maintain his passion as a profession and regularly competes in tournaments alongside his work running charters. He placed in the top 20 out of 200 in the state's BASS national tournament, so knows exactly how to catch the biggest and best fish. However, Capt. Brent insists that running charters is the highlight of the job, passing on his love for fishing to each and every customer.
