If you’re looking for a top choice for your island fishing adventure, Saltyboy Charters is a good way to go! As one of the true island natives and a 5th generation angler, Captain Scotty Darna has built a reputation for always catching quality fish. He is also knowledgeable of the area and local wildlife.

You will spend your fishing expedition on a spacious 24’ bay boat that was custom-built by the captain himself to be a lean fishing machine. The vessel is rigged with a 150 HP Yamaha engine and has plenty of room to accommodate up to 5 anglers.

On board, you’ll find excellent navigational electronics, plenty of comfortable seating, and a live bait well. Capt. Scotty will provide all the necessary fishing equipment for the trip, as well as fishing licenses for his guests. After your trip, you will get your catch cleaned and filleted, which means you can savor it for dinner.

There’s a variety of trips to choose from, and depending on your preferences, you can choose a 4, 6, or 8-hour expedition. On your line, you can expect to find anything from Snook, Spotted Seatrout, and Redfish to Goliath and Gag Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Shark, and Tarpon. There’s something for everyone in these waters, and your guide will do his best to put you on a great catch.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or you’re just discovering the beauty of fishing, a day out with Saltyboy Charters will be the one to remember. Pack your favorite snacks, drinks, and sunscreen, and Capt. Scotty will take you to the best fish hideouts in Pine Island Sound!
