You've read the news stories, now it's time to see for yourself the incredible scale of Bluefin Tuna. Head offshore from Prince Edward Island into the Atlantic in search of one of the ocean's most elusive creatures. Humongous, enormous – not even all the superlatives combined can explain the size of these giants, so come and experience it first-hand with Chasintail Tuna Charters' professional crew.

Born into a family of commercial fishermen, Capt. Mark Lorne has been surrounded by huge fish his whole life. Working on ships since the age of 18, he still gets the same rush of catching a monster Tuna every day. Every day is different, and every guest, too. He can't wait to see the look on your face when you realize the size of the beast on the end of your line.

The 45' Forport Marine commercial vessel is well-oiled to catching huge fish. A sturdy vessel, she'll comfortably stay intact under the weight of these monsters. She's fitted for a long stay aboard, providing ample seating and standing room for up to 10 guests, along with a bed, kitchen, and full head toilet. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided free of charge, so you'll be well taken care of throughout.

You simply won't believe your eyes, nor your arms, as you battle it out against these monster creatures. Growing to 1,500 pounds, Bluefin Tuna require industrial strength to catch them. You'll use all your skill to attract the bite while trolling, before enduring a huge workout to get them aboard.

Everything caught must be released unless you pay $1,500 per day to bring your catch back to shore. You'll leave the boat with some enviable photos, and an unbelievable story to tell everyone from your grandkids to your doctor! Let Chasintail Tuna Charters take you offshore and rock your world.

Having grown up with family in the seafood processing industry, Capt. Mark was never far away from the water. He started working on a boat at the age of 18 and purchased his own when he was 24 and has been a captain ever since. No day is the same, so Capt. Mark says that it's a new adventure every day. He loves showing people how to tackle huge fish. It takes patience from both sides, but the thrill of seeing someone's expression change when the hit a 1,000-pounder is priceless.
