Tide & Time Charters

Nothing beats battling giant Bluefin Tuna while your reels are screaming, and that’s exactly what Tide & Time Charters are all about! Operating out of Cardigan, Canada, they specialize in North Lake PEI fishing and are run by Captain David Sansom. He’s experienced, skilled, and very knowledgeable when it comes to the right fishing locations and the most efficient gear needed to land monster Tuna.

Your adventure will take place aboard his impressive 45’ Four Ports Marine offshore sport fishing boat. It can cater to up to 8 anglers (6 for maximum comfort) taking turns while fishing. While one person is battling Tuna, the others can all catch live bait. This fishing machine comes with a 540 HP Cummins engine, a restroom, outriggers, a live bait tank, a fighting chair, 2 coolers, and state-of-the-art navigational and safety gear.

Your trip will start early in the morning, and it’s recommended that you meet the captain at the dock 30 minutes before departure. The captain will take you trolling after monster Tuna and where you’ll go will depend on the season. The first half of the season will take you 5–7 miles out, while you can expect to go up to 20 miles from the coast during the second half of the season. It will take you less than an hour to reach these offshore hotspots.

The charter will cover the use of top-notch Shimano fishing gear, lures, and fishing licenses. The captain supplies everything – water, beer, sodas, beans, oysters, home-made sandwiches, and other refreshments.

You just need to bring appropriate clothes and an adventurous spirit – Tide & Time Charters will take care of everything else!
