Two departure locations are available for your convenience. The primary location in Port Moody is just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Alternatively, you can board in North Vancouver at Pier 7 (St Roch Dock) next to Lonsdale Quay. This is also accessible from downtown Vancouver via transit (12-minute SeaBus passenger ferry across Burrard Inlet).
Let Captain Mark Shannon take you to the most productive areas to experience the thrill of battling these powerful fish. With over 25 years of experience fishing the west coast, he knows these waters well and looks forward to welcoming anglers of any skill level aboard.
Head out on Capt. Mark's 24' Robalo walkaround. There's plenty of space for up to 4 guests with a large deck area for fighting fish. Comfortable seating, a fridge, and a flush toilet ensure you'll have an enjoyable day on the water. Powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha engines, the boat has plenty of power to reach the best fishing spots quickly!
Equipped with the latest Garmin electronics, including a fishfinder, GPS, and radar, you'll have no trouble finding the most productive fishing grounds. Capt. Mark will have you trolling with bait and a variety of artificial lures to target Chinook, Coho, Sockeye, Pink, and Chum Salmon. When in season, you'll also drop crab traps to target great-tasting Dungeness Crab.
At the end of your trip, your captain will clean and fillet your catch for you. Just bring a suitable ice box to keep it fresh during your journey home.

I hooked and landed my first Chinook salmon, it was approximately 17lbs/81cm. We had our limit of (8) coho before noontime. I wold recommend him for anyone considering a charter.

8 Hour Charter on July 17, 2024 • 4 adultsMy husband and I took our two teens fishing for Coho and Chinook. Captain Mark and his partner Mark were the best! Captain Mark was so helpful leading up to the trip and was great with communication and helpful reminders so that everything went smoothly. The day of the trip they were patient with four novice fishermen, tailored the trip to meet our needs and were extremely knowledgeable about their craft. All four of us caught fish, and by the end of the trip my 14 year old son was so comfortable that he brought in the biggest catch of the day under Mark’s great coaching. I couldn’t recommend this Captain more and we hope to be able to come back for another trip with him. A great day and lifelong memories with our family made! Thanks Captain Mark & Mark!

He is a very experienced guide who knew where and how to fish and we were catching fish all day while most other boats weren't. The boat was a bit tight for the 5 of us (suitable for 3) but we appreciated him accomodating us all. Would recommend Mark for your next excursion.

3/4 Day Trip - October (AM) on August 27, 2018You will not regret hiring Mark as your fishing guide. Not only is he the nicest most genuine guy you will meet, his expertise and knowledge is hard to beat. We went out on a foggy morning in August and he expertly navigated us using GPS to a sweet spot just West of the Fraser delta. It was at this point Mark’s knowledge of the type of lure and depth had us bringing in double headers faster than I have ever experienced before. We maxed out after only an hour of fishing. Would definitely go again and I highly recommend Mark Shannon as your guide and Captain.

8 Hour Charter on September 21, 2018If you are looking for an authentic West Coast experience, book your trip with captain Mark. He grew up here and knows the waters and best fishing spots. His boat is clean, fast and fully equipment with all the gear one needs. Mark is an expert in both safe boating and fishing, he knows what bait to use for best results. I've never had much luck fishing but caught two Chinooks that day which was the maximum allowed. Would definitely recommend Mark for your next fishing adventure.

Fishing for Cutthroat Trout in local creeks became fly fishing for Steelhead and Salmon in local rivers to eventually mooching and trolling for Salmon in the local waters. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
