Someday Came Fishing Charters are Owned and operated by Captain Brad Ries, a full-time fisherman who lives locally and has been fishing these waters for well over 35 years. With over 25 years of Charter Fishing experience, Someday Came Fishing Charters' goal is to provide a clean, fun, and fish-filled experience for you and your charter.
Someday Came is a 26' semi-custom 1989 Fortier downeast boat and was purchased in 1998. As the second owner and a good friend of the first owner, Captain Brad has been fishing this boat since she was born. A re-power in 2013 with a 240 HP Yanmar diesel provides plenty of giddy-up to the fishing grounds. The boat can fit 4 anglers comfortably and can accommodate up to anglers , has a fixed (head) toilet, and uses all the fishing gear needed for a successful trip.
You can chase Tuna, Shark, Striped Bass, Fluke, Black Sea bass, Scup, Weakfish, and Bluefish. Using both light and heavy tackle, you and the crew can reel them in by bottom, deep sea, and drift fishing, as well as trolling, spinning, and jigging. Captain Brad provides all the fishing equipment, catch cleaning, licenses, water, sodas, and Gatorade.

We take pride in what we do and we love having kids onboard. There have been many firsts onboard, first fish, biggest fish, most fish…. All those experiences are what get kids involved and keep them interested in such a great outdoor activity.

A friend recommended Someday Came Fishing Charters, he having had a great time with his son. My son and his family were visiting so I booked a trip for him, his father-in-law and two of his young children. The trip was a great success! Lots of fish caught (striped bass, flute and some bluefish). The children had great fun and lots of help. Now I have to eat fish for a week! Highly recommended.

I took my 14 year old and 12 year out with Captain Brad and Charlie today and we had the best time!!! Captain Brad is super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the area and obviously all things fishing and boating. Capt. Brad and Charlie are both also great with kids. Loved it and will definitely book with them again!

Captain Brad is great. Caught our limit of striped bass. Captain Brad taught us a lot about fishing for stripers. Great host. My son and wife were on board and also had a great time. Great boat. Great family experience we will remember.
