Someday Came Fishing Charters 

Enjoy the beautiful waters of the east end of Long Island while fishing Shinnecock Bay, Peconic Bay, Shinnecock Inlet, and the Atlantic Ocean. Someday Came Fishing Charters are Owned and operated by Captain Brad Ries, a full-time fisherman who lives locally and has been fishing these waters for well over 35 years. With over 25 years of Charter Fishing experience, Someday Came Fishing Charters’ goal is to provide a clean, fun, and fish-filled experience for you and your charter.
Someday Came is a 26’ semi-custom 1989 Fortier downeast boat and was purchased in 1998. As the second owner and a good friend of the first owner, Captain Brad has been fishing this boat since she was born. A re-power in 2013 with a 240 HP Yanmar diesel provides plenty of giddy-up to the fishing grounds. The boat can fit 4 anglers comfortably and can accommodate up to anglers , has a fixed (head) toilet, and uses all the fishing gear needed for a successful trip.

You can chase Tuna, Shark, Striped Bass, Fluke, Black Sea bass, Scup, Weakfish, and Bluefish. Using both light and heavy tackle, you and the crew can reel them in by bottom, deep sea, and drift fishing, as well as trolling, spinning, and jigging. Captain Brad provides all the fishing equipment, catch cleaning, licenses, water, sodas, and Gatorade.

We take pride in what we do and we love having kids onboard. There have been many firsts onboard, first fish, biggest fish, most fish…. All those experiences are what get kids involved and keep them interested in such a great outdoor activity.
