A lifelong fisherman, Captain Craig Bielkiewicz is passionate about passing on his knowledge to others. Having run trips in the area since 2004, he knows exactly where the fish like to hide, and promises to get you on them.
Discover these winding, shallow waterways aboard a 24’ Kenner center console. A light vessel, she’s perfectly adept at staying afloat in the skinny waters. Powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine, you’ll fly across the water at a hair-raising 50 knots. Up to 4 guests can fish at once, without having to worry about impeding each other’s sight or movement. Bring your own snacks and drinks aboard and make the most of the captain’s cooler.
She’s also fully equipped for a productive day on the water. Your bait will be kept fresh in the live well, while you’ll be provided with Shimano and Daiwa rods and reels. You’ll focus on casting, with the potential to drift fish, bottom fish, spin, and pop to lure the bite of some exciting fish. Feel free to bring your own fly fishing equipment to test your skills, too, as you try to reel in delicious Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and more.
At the end of your trip, Capt. Craig will clean and prepare your catch for you to take home, ready to cook right away. It wasn't just a perfect day of fishing, Captain Craig was also very professional and just a fun guy to hang out with. Even after the trip was over Captain Craig provided us with information on getting some fresh shrimp to take home. Captain Craig has been on the water since he was old enough to hold a rod. A lover of the outdoors and of the water as a little boy, his passion remains as strong to this day. With over 20 years of experience in Grand Isle (15 of which have been running charters), he knows all the estuaries and will show every customer each and every nook and cranny of these productive shallow waters. Capt. Craig especially enjoys teaching children how to fish, and says there's nothing like seeing the expression on a child's face when they first reel in a fish.
