Get Hook’D Fishing
Spend the day with Get Hook'D Fishing and see what's biting in Grand Isle! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Justin can tell you all about the local fishery.
Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, Flounder, Redfish, Black Drum, Cobia, and more could be biting, depending on when you go.
During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Justin operates a 24' Bay boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

20+ sustained winds and wet but I fish when I can not when I want too. Despite bad weather, capt put us on fish and i had a great day and overall an awesome time. Looking forward to my next trip!

Thank you, Mr. Jack! It was definitely a pleasure having you aboard. We dealt with some not so great conditions out there, but we still made it a good day on the water. Appreciate you choosing Get Hook’D Fishing Charters looking forward to doing it again soon!

I booked a last minute trip with Captain Justin for my son, FIL and myself. Justin put us on some fish pretty quickly and some of the Specs and White Trout were the largest I’ve personally caught. My son keeps asking me when we’re going again. We will definitely be booking a trip again this year! Thanks again Justin!
Captain Justin was awesome. He took great care of us and made sure everything was perfect do we would have a great experience.
Friendly captain, took us to great spots and had fun catching!
Grand Isle, Louisiana, United States
I grew up in louisiana fishing all over until I found grand isle and fell in love with the place. My dad bought a camp on the island and we spent most of our time there fishing inshore and offshore.
