Fine Catch Fishing Charters will have you coming back to South Carolina again and again for more irresistible, head-on fishing! Book your next fishing trip with Captain Chris Ossmann and have him show you around the beautiful inshore and productive backcountry waters of Little River.
Your voyage will take place on the captain's bay boat, powered by a 300hp yamaha engine. This 25' beauty can take up to 5 guests, including children ages 5 and up, so you can plan your next family vacation and bring the kids along as well! His boat is fully loaded with all the amenities you'll need, including a fishfinder, GPS, wireless trolling motor, live bait well, and safety gear.
The captain's preferred fishing technique is light tackle, but he can do heavy tackle on trips longer than 7 hours. Most trips are inshore and nearshore while exploring the flats and backcountry waters of Little River and its surrounding areas. You'll also have the opportunity to fish over some incredible underwater reefs and wrecks along the coast.
Your main target species are trout, flounder, Cobia, Black Drum, Redfish, Spadefish, and many more. The Blacktip Shark has also been known to circle these inshore waters, as well.
You'll have your choice of top-quality Penn, and fenwick rods and reels. There's always bottled water on board to make sure you stay hydrated, but feel free to also bring any of your own food and drinks with you. At the end of every trip, Capt. Chris will offer to clean and fillet your catch, so you can take it home and enjoy your day's hard work!

We had an awesome trip with Captain Chris! He was fantastic - super personable and helpful. ZERO curse words too, which is a big plus in my book. AND, he put us on fish! We caught trout and flounder on a morning half-day trip, including several keepers. Great boat and gear too. Our trip was everything you could ask for in a fishing charter. I will most certainly book with Chris again, and will recommend him to anyone fishing this area.

We had a great time fishing with Capt. Chris! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard all day to put us on fish. We started off hot by catching two keeper red drum, and throughout the trip we also caught another red drum, a small flounder, and two stingrays. Unfortunately, the flounder just weren't keeper size that day, but that definitely wasn't due to a lack of effort from Capt. Chris. He kept us moving and trying different spots to give us the best chance of success. Overall, it was a fun family experience, and we made some great memories on the water. We would absolutely recommend Capt. Chris to anyone looking for a great fishing charter!

Captain Chris is a great guy and made us feel welcome right away. He also did an excellent job explaining fishing techniques to my 12 and 15 year old sons amd telling them about the different fish we were catching. The boys were talking about our day after a fresh catch dinner of fish tacos and said, “that dude was really nice.”

We had the absolute best time! Captain Chris was extremely friendly, knowledgeable with spots and weather, and most importantly extremely atentitive to my children and making sure they were having the best time. We caught alot of fish and a some really big ones. Would do again@

Capt. Chris put us in the fish. We had to reel them in but the action was great. Flounder, blues, bank bass, toad and lizard fish were all caught. 2 flounders over 20 inches. Cleaned and bagged up at the end of the trip.

I've been boating and fishing since I've been able to stand on my own two legs. As a young child and teenager, I was able to experience many different types of fishing, from fly fishing for Salmon and Trout to offshore fishing for Yellowfin Tuna. I owe everything to my father, who was also a big-time fisherman. So in respect for him, I've decided to become a guide and pass along my skills to everyone!
