Species like Cobia, Black Seabass, Amberjack, Hammerhead Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Barracuda, Atlantic Mackerel, Bluefish, Bonito, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Casey believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your boat for the day is a 24’ Tidewater center console with room for 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great Time!!

We had an awesome time fishing. We caught a few Spanish and a few baby sharks. At the end of the trip we were pulling up the anchor when a big shark came to the top and ate the bait we had just take off the hooks. Capt. Casey asked if we had a few more minutes which we said of course. He moved the boat up dropped the anchor again and within 5 minutes we caught the 4 foot shark pictured. What an awesome time and great experience!

Fantastic family fishing with Reel Warrior!

First, let me start with this was a fantastic experience. We didn't know how our little kids would handle the trip, but Capt. Casey made it great for the seven, six, and 5-year-old! Peak experience. Each of the kids caught a shark, including my wife and I. Capt. Casey had everything prepped and ready to go, we were along for the ride and the fun! Even the local restaurant cooked our catch afterwards, delicious!

An Amazing Day!

4 Hour Trip (AM) on May 17, 2025

This was an AWESOME trip. We caught several other smaller fish but the sharks were definitely the most exciting. The big boy was over 6' long and took us right at an hour to get into the boat. Captain Casey coached us well thoughout the entire ordeal to ensure we didn't lose him by snapping the line or bending the hook to the point he slipped off. The largest fish I've ever caught and we all took home an absolute pile of meat from it. Not to mention, Captain Casey is just a fun dude to hang out with and talk to which makes the trip that much more enjoyable.

Fabulous Fishing and Wonderful Day!

Our family had the best day fishing with Captain Casey. First, he called ahead to help us get scheduled the day before to avoid a weather issue and keep us safe. Once we got out on the water, he had everything we needed and moved the boat several times to make sure we caught fish. He was hands-on and helpful, and wonderful to talk to. He pointed out some of the extras, like sea turtles and dolphins, which made it fun for the kids. We would highly recommend him and would love to fish with him again!
