Based out of Cross, you'll head out onto Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion looking to fill the boat with some monstrous Catfish and exciting Striped Bass. Let Captain Bobby Winters show you around. Following his father's footsteps, he took over the family business in 2018. He promises to show you the best these waters have to offer.
Head out to the sweet spots aboard a 25' Bentley Tritoon pontoon boat. Powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine, you'll speed off to the fishing grounds, getting ready to do battle. There's plenty of space on board for up to 6 guests to fish at the same time, and you'll each be given a top-of-the-line Catclaw rod. Take advantage of the onboard cooler to keep your snacks and drinks cold, and your catch fresh.
On Striper trips, you'll purchase live bait for $50 dollars, stowing it away in the onboard livewell before casting away with it. Whatever trip you choose, you'll drift along the pristine waters of these freshwater lakes, bottom fishing to entice the bite of your intended target. Striped Bass will put up an intense battle to get off your line, while the huge Catfish will require plenty of heavy lifting to come aboard. Settle in to test your skills and strength.
Bring the whole family aboard to enjoy these prime fishing destinations. Children over the age of 8 are welcome aboard and even go for free! Capt. Bobby can't wait to share his knowledge and tried and true techniques with everyone on board. ⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐️ What an incredible catfishing trip in Cross, SC with Bobby! From start to finish, everything was first class. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to keep us on fish all day. He knew exactly where to go and made sure everyone in our group had a great time, whether you were an experienced angler or a beginner. The boat and equipment were clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We caught plenty of catfish and made memories that will last a lifetime. You can truly tell that this is more than just a job—it’s a passion. If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing experience on the Santee Cooper lakes, I highly recommend booking a trip. Capt. Bobby was excellent and thanks to his knowledge and hard work; we filled up the ice chest with fish. Never had a better day fishing. I went with my son and we will have memories for life. I could not recommend Bobby more highly.

A family business, Capt. Bobby inherited the business from his father, Capt. Bob Winters. After years of fishing with his father, he decided to get his own license in March 2018 and take over the day-to-day charter operation. He's sporadically participated in tournaments, enabling him to master his craft of catching monster fish, and in early 2019, caught his biggest fish yet – a 60 lb Catfish.
