Head out aboard the “Bonita.” A 28’ Nava center console, she’s adept at exploring all kinds of waters. Let the twin 115 HP Yamaha V4 engines whisk you off to the deepest waters where you’ll make use of the boat’s top fishing equipment. You’ll fill the livewell with fresh bait, before making use of the outriggers to troll and catch the bite of some monster fish.
Discover the Bay of Banderas and its stunning reefs as you look back at the pristine coastline just a few miles away. Head out first thing and watch the sunrise behind the towering mountains, before getting your fish on. Go after dazzling Roosterfish, Snappers, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, and Jacks, and you’ll even get the chance to get in the water and swim with them. Just get in touch with the captain to bring the snorkeling gear aboard.
On longer trips, you’ll head out to some of the Pacific’s greatest offshore fishing spots. Explore El Corbeteña, and go after some monster fish. Get ready for the fight of your life as you try to reel in enormous, strong, and tough-fighting Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. You won’t forget this in a hurry as you head back to shore with a great tale to tell.
During the trip, take advantage of the fresh fruit and free water on offer, but feel free to bring along any other drinks and snacks you’d like. 13 Hour Fishing Tournament

We booked the 13hr. We met the crew prior and were handed food and water for our adventure. Left on time, making our way out there the wind turned and the swells started rising, so is and most boats turned around and stayed close to shore. Caught a few Jack Crevalles, Bonitas, and Spanish Mackerel. They were helpful with the set up but also let you help and do things if you wanted. Was a long day but a good day overall.

Extended Full Day Trip – Tournament
Mahi madness!
My second trip with captain scooby and chicken. After a great 1st trip we decided to head offshore to try for a marlin. Although we had hits from marlin we couldn't hook up properly although seeing them hit the baits was pretty spectacular. I may have missed out on a marlin but the fishing was still awesome we found an area with lots of mahi mahi. I think the final tally was 12 with a few missed hits and lost fish. Again we had ceviche and sashimi on the way back which was delicious.

Full Day Trip
Bonito bonanza
Had a great day. Captain scooby and his crewman chicken (not sure why he's called chicken) put me on the fish straight away. We caught over 20 bonito (I lost count) and a few skipjack. We then headed offshore and came across a beautiful mahi mahi. As we headed back in we had fresh bonito ceviche and with the lures still in the water we picked up a Sierra mackerel and a blue runner. All in all a great fay

3/4 Day Trip – Banderas Bay
Not what it seems
I gave 5 stars for the real Captain. The captain listed was not the captain, just a middleman and doesn`t even own a boat. Fishing Booker is a broker and then the captain listed was also a broker who represents several other boats. I prefer to pay the man who actually puts in the work! Too many hands in the pie for me. The real Captain was awesome. Great experience and put us on the X.
