On Ice Fishing Charters is based in Fort Myers, Florida, and specializes in all sorts of inshore fishing trips. Captain Kevin has been fishing the Florida waters for the last 25 years, and you can rest assured he will be able to point you in the right direction. His goal is to provide you with a memorable experience, and not just another random fishing trip.
You will be fishing aboard a 22’ Pathfinder center console boat equipped with a 250 HP Yamaha engine that can have it going up to an impressive 50 knots. It contains all the necessary safety and navigation gear such as a GPS and a fishfinder device. It has plenty of space for up to four people, so it’s also a great choice for that family trip you’ve been planning.
The waters around Fort Myers have some great fishing spots and are filled with Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon (when in season). Apart from trolling, you can also try your hand at bottom fishing for some tasty Snapper. Captain Kevin will provide you with the best fishing gear, from brands like Shimano, St. Croix, Power Pro, and Bass Pro Shops. Of course, you are always welcome to bring your own gear if you like.
Apart from the gear, you will also find that the necessary fishing licenses, as well as bait and drinking water are also included in the price. After the trip, Captain Kevin will clean and fillet anything you catch so you have one thing fewer to take care of. Bring a hat and a pair of polarized sunglasses so that you’re comfortable and get ready for a day of adventure.

Great day out
We had a great day out with captain Kevin. Fishing conditions were not ideal, temperature had dropped a lot from cold weather so we didn’t expect much to bite. However Kevin put us on some fish and got all 6 of us to hook up although very few had any experience fishing. He was very accommodating as we booked the day before and was very responsive to messaging before the trip. We would certainly book again and hope for better weather.

Great Day
We had specifically requested a day on the water fishing for Tarpon. Capt. Kevin did all he could, from offshore to in shore chasing down fish. We had a good time learning about various parts of the fishery, we look forward to the next time we can use his services. Thank you Kevin.
