Pepe was at the wheel. We spent most of our time with Alberto who worked hard to change lures out and set up multiple lines. When we were unsuccessfully catching closer to shore, they took us out further where they heard other boats were experiencing success. About 1.5 hours into the trip, we caught out first fish (mahi mahi aka Dorado) and after that we reeled in 7 tuna (about 10 minutes apart)! We saw about 30 dolphins total who were swimmming along our boat and feeding on tuna. It was beautiful! We also saw a whale breech a few times. We were hopeful to catch one fish, but catching 8 exceeded our expectations!! We will be coming to Cabo again and will most definitely choose to fish with Alberto and Pepe on the Viviana IV!

Great trip, from start to finish. Crew worked hard all day to help us find and catch fish—two dorado, two sharks. Great weather, great fishing, crew was professional and fun. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Didn’t catch anything. Not sure why we went straight out and all the other boats went north up the coastline where we were taken on other trips.
Bottom Line: $500 and no fish at all.
I cannot recommend since I don’t know for sure if the problem was inability of the captain or not
