Fish Minocqua
Fish Minocqua will take you on an adventure to some of the most pristine lakes in the world, surrounded by natural highland forests. Captain Dave Lang is on the water 100 days a year and he's always on top of the fish patterns. He runs a family-friendly charter and he loves helping people catch their first game fish. His guests have ranged from 6 to 92 years old!
You'll be fishing out of Capt. Dave's 20' Ranger boat. She's powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine, with a Minnkota electric bow-mount trolling motor. Electronics include Lowrance GPS and color depth-finders. The boat features built-in live wells for bait and your catch and a cooler for your refreshments. She's also equipped with pedestal seats and accommodates up to 4 anglers.
This part of Wisconsin contains the highest number of lakes, so the fishing opportunities are endless. These lakes are home to Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, and 'The Lake King' – Musky, both Natural and Hybrid.
Capt. Dave will have a lake picked for your trip in advance. If the action is less than what was expected, he will pull the boat and try a different lake to make your trip the best that it can be.
Your fishing equipment is provided but there are some things you need to prepare in advance: your fishing license, food and drinks for the day, and proper clothing. If you wish to use live bait, the cost is $15 per angler.
If you need a suggestion for accommodation, Capt. Dave can help. His wife Dianna has been helping people to find lodging for over 20 years, so don't hesitate to contact them.
Fish Minocqua is here to help you fish in comfort, seize the beautiful surroundings, and be proud of what you've caught for the day – it can hardly get any better than that!

Had a great outing with Dave on Squirrel Lake. Blue skies, calm water-tough conditions for walleye. The fish would pick up rear end of minnow and then drop. Bites were almost imperceptible. Just a bit of extra weight. Still caught some and enough for a nice fish fry. I would highly recommend Dave. Very knowledgeable and great story teller. Fun morning on the water!

Thank You Rollin. I enjoyed fishing with you, we did have a good morning considering the conditions. I look forward to fishing with again. Dave
Rough start to the day with unexpeted T-storms. Captain Dave Lang was awesome, worked his butt off to find us Walleye. Unfortunately the fish did not want to be caught. We still had a great time fishing and plan to rebook with Dave next year, maybe earlier in the summer.
Dave, our guide, put us on fish. Very knowledgeable about the lake we fished. Gave me a few tips that I am sure I will try. Even cleaned and packaged our catch. Thanks Dave!

Thanks Dale, I enjoyed fishing with you guys and look forward to fishing with you again. Beautiful 33" Pike, biggest in my boat this season. KEEP YOUR LINE TIGHT AND A BEND IN YOUR ROD. DAVE LANG
Dave is a great captain. He coached my grandson, Joe in proper spinner casting and retrieving. Joe caught his first fish using an artificial lure. It also happened to be the biggest fish he has caught to date. We all had a wonderful day on the water with Dave! Thanks!

Thanks Dave I appreciate your review. I enjoined fishing with your group, we all got a thrill out of watching Joe learn a new technique and catch his biggest fish ever. I look forward to fishing with you again. KEEP YOUR LINE TIGHT AND A BEND IN YOUR ROD. DAVE LANG
