In case you're looking for the ultimate fishing experience on the lakes of Northern Wisconsin, Off The Hook Fishing Adventures is ready to welcome you on board! Join Captain Fred Palermo, who's been fishing in the area for over 25 years. He runs trips year-round and is always ready to share his knowledge, so even if you don't have any fishing experience that shouldn't stop you from having an adventure.
Capt. Fred will make sure you have a good time on his 16' Alumacraft, powered by a 60 HP Johnson engine. The boat accommodates up to 2 adults and 1 child, and there's enough room for everybody to fish at the same time. Besides navigational and safety equipment, the boat also has a cooler where you can store your food and drinks.
You'll be targeting Musky, Walleye, Crappie, and many other fish species commonly found in the waters of Northern Wisconsin. There's a lot of lakes in the area, and the captain changes his fishing spots in search of the best ones. Get in touch with him before the trip to confirm your meeting point.
Just get your fishing license and pack up some food and drinks – Off The Hook Fishing Adventures will take care of everything else. Your fishing equipment, live bait, and lures are provided. After the trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch free of charge.
Kids of all ages are welcome but life vests are provided for 4-year-olds and above, so please bring your life vests if the kids are smaller.

Had a great day fishing with Captain Fred. we caught more Crappie today thst i have in the last 18 years fcoming to Minocqua. will book again

Fred took us ice fishing and had everything setup and ready for us. We caught lots of fish and he was very helpful throughout the adventure. I can’t wait to fish with him again!
We had a guided fishing trip with Fred Palermo, Off the Hook Fishing Adventures, we started out the morning a little slow in the first two spots, the Crappies weren’t cooperating, Fred took us to a third spot and the action really picked up. My grandson was the star of the day catching a lot of nice one, he had the prime spot in the bow of the boat. Overall we caught about 40 fish, we took home 20 really nice 11” or larger crappies, overall a wonderful day fishing.
Fred was great-excellent communication before and during our trip. He was extremely patient and kind to my two inexperienced children (10 & 9). We caught plenty of Crappie and had an awesome Northwoods fishing experience thanks to Fred.
Very knowledgable on different fish and knows all the lakes! Highly recommend and will be using Fred again!
