You'll be cruising the are on board the Custom Carolina Skiff, a flats boat model from 2008. It can accommodate groups of up to 6 guests. The boat is 24' and it is fitted with a single Yamaha F-150 engine that can reach top speeds of 45 knots. You'll be going from one fishing spot to another in no time.
This charter covers the inshore areas that include local flats. Regardless of the season, chances are the fish is biting. It's just a question of which species are more available than the others, so check with the crew. You may encounter tasty fish like Mangroove Snapper, Flounder and Sheepshead, just to name a few. When it comes to fishing techniques you can use several, like light tackle, spinning, and fly fishing.
Before you start your fishing session don't forget to acquire your Texas fishing license as the charter doesn't cover it. However, as for the necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait, they will be waiting for you on board. If you get lucky you may keep your catch, or release it. It's up to you. If you do keep it, the crew will happily help you with the cleaning. Families with children are welcome.

our trip was amazing, we wanted a trip that wouldnt take all day but still give us adequate time to fish. we have a speical needs teens so 6hrs can be too long for him in the heat. our captain Russell was super knowledgeable, fun and patient. he gave us tips on fishing and educated our boys in a fun way. would definitely do it again.

I told Capt Russell, just wanted to catch a few fish and make a memory with my kids (5,9,12, and 15 year olds) and he delivered. we caught trout, redfish, and a snook and all kids had a great time and all smiles. kids are asking when can we go again. well done and thank you!

Captain Russell made our trip extra fun getting up close to the dolphins, and getting our live shrimp bait freah from a shrimping boat. He put us on the fish and we caught Trout and Reds!

We had great time and caught some very nice fish. He coached 6 of us land lubbers. Got back to the dock and paid the man to clean them, went home and ate like kings. Thank you Captain Russell!
