Launching out of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Mobile Bay Charters specializes in providing their clients with the ultimate shallow water experiences. Captain Lee Robinson is a passionate local who grew up fishing the inshore waters of Alabama. He won a state tournament championship when he was only 17 and has been a charter captain for 19 years.
You'll be spending the day aboard his 24' Pathfinder bay boat powered by a new 250 HP Honda engine. It can carry up to 6 anglers fishing comfortably. The boat comes equipped with top-notch marine electronics, safety gear, and an ice-box.
The captain will show you his favorite inshore, nearshore, flats, and backcountry spots. You'll be focusing on bagging Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Tripletail. Get ready for some epic light tackle spinning!
Mobile Bay Charters use quality Daiwa and Shimano gear. The charter will also cover live bait, lures, and fishing licenses. Live bait is usually bought by the captain, so it's ready prior to the trip. Clients can either bring their own cooler or store their food and drinks in the Yeti cooler the captain has on board. There's also dry storage available.

We had a fantastic trip. Captain Lee got us on fish right out of the gate. We literally were a few hundred yards from the launch when my son hooked up with a big catfish and I hooked up with a shark of which we both landed and released.
We caught 15 white trout, 7 speckled trout, catfish, croaker and a shark. We threw back as many as we kept - maybe more. We saw dolphins several different times. Captain Lee is easy going and easy to talk to, it felt like we had been friends for several years. We would definitely book another trip with Captain Lee.

Captain Lee was great to work with. Very communicative, and works great with youth.
Let us know when the bite was not good and offered a different time. We then had scheduling difficulties and we worked tongether to still find time to fish.
Worked the area to find a good bite. He wasn’t satisfied until we were catching fish!

We enjoyed our fishing trip with Captain Lee. For starters his communication was great. His top priority was making sure we didn’t have rough waters during our charter. He kept us up to date on possible changes and water conditions to insure we had a great trip, super appreciative of that. We caught a bunch of trout and our 9 yr old had a blast! Lee was very patient with him and helped him out a lot. We would recommend this charter to anyone looking into a fishing trip.

My second trip bay fishing and I would not hesitate to book with Captain Lee again. Even though a very windy day he put me on fish within probably 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable of the good places.
