Captain Hooks Fishing Adventures invites you to a day of fishing fun and games on numerous prolific lakes of Oneida and Vilas Counties! With Captain Pat Wingo at the helm, you will hit some of the most productive fishing grounds in the area and learn how to land the biggest fish.
If you're a freshwater enthusiast, then you've come to the right place, because these waters are teeming with the most prized game fish. This means you can expect a wide range of species on your hook – from Bluegill and Crappie to both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Musky, and Northern Pike.
You'll use light tackle for Crappie and Bluegill, while heavy tackle is reserved for Musky that can grow to impressive sizes. If you're going after Walleye and Bass, then jigging is a recipe for success.
Capt. Pat will provide reliable Fenwick and Shimano fishing equipment, as well as live bait and lures. After the trip, he'll clean and fillet the catch, if you'd like, so that you can cook it as soon as you come home.
Come aboard a 21' Alumacraft boat with a 150 HP Yamaha engine and you'll be on your way to the best hot spots in no time. There's room on the boat for up to 4 anglers, and the whole group can fish at the same time. The quality navigational equipment will lead the way to your prey and then, it's your time to shine.
It doesn't matter whether you're coming with a group of friends, your family, or you're hosting a corporate activity, Capt. Pat will go out of his way to organize everything for you. The only thing you should think about is buying fishing licenses, dressing warmly, and bringing a supply of food and drinks.

We had less than ideal conditions, cold front of 40* came in (major drop in temps for the time of year) September 5th. Pat had us on fish drove exactly to where they were but due to the cold front, windy conditions and starting to rain we just couldn’t get them to bite. Treated us extremely well when it was time to settle up. Even when we all agree’d to pack it in early due to the conditions. Will be booking a trip with him again in the future!
First time I was out with a Walleye charter. Cold start, weather and fish, but turned out beautifully. We ended up with 2 excellent Walleyes, 26+, and 24+ inchers. I would highly recommend Captain Pat to put you on some quality fish. Thanks again for a wonderful charter.

Pat does his homework and provided us a perfect fishing experience. With limited time available up north we ended up with some great fishing. Pat got us on the fish immediately and his equipment was excellent. On top of it all he’s a great human being. We would book with him again without hesitation.
Captain Pat has 30+ years of experience and it shows! My family of 4 (mom, dad, two middle school aged boys) had a great time catching 50+ fish with him. We caught a variety of crappie, walleye, bass and blue gill…he made the whole experience easy and fun. Can’t wait to fish with Captain Pat again!
