Cliff's Chinook Charters
When you're ready to explore the rich fishery Black Creek has to offer, turn to Cliff's Chinook Charters! There are few better places to fish for various species of Salmon than British Columbia, and Capt. Cliff is an expert in putting you on that red-hot bite.
Come aboard his 25' Aquasport Cuddy cabin powered with a 300 HP Suzuki engine and head out to the secret fish hideouts. Up to 3 angling buddies can join you and together, you can spend several hours chasing fish that is as plentiful as it is tasty. The vessel is stable and comfortable, with solid navigational electronics and a private toilet.
Your prey will be different Salmon species, but Chinook and Coho are by far the most prized catch, along with Halibut, Lingcod, and Rockfish. All these fish are amazing fighters and will give you a run for your money, so get ready for a proper workout on the rod.
Capt. Cliff will have all the fishing gear at the ready on board, but you can use your own if you'd like. When intense fishing action is done, your guide will fillet everything you caught, and you can even ask him for a good recipe, he loves cooking fish almost as much as he likes catching it.
When you book a trip with Cliff's Chinook Charters, one thing is certain – there won't be a dull moment on the water. Enjoy the breathtaking views and then, it's time to catch something extraordinary!
Captain Cliff moves between Campbell River, Black Creek and Comox, depending on where the fish are at the moment. Therefore, make sure to contact the Captain to find out about the exact location you'll be fishing from.

Our family of four booked a charter with Cliff Chinook Charters to celebrate our son's 25th birthday; we are very happy we did! Darrell was our guide and did an absolutely fabulous job. Despite having to depart in heavy fog, Darrell made our fishing trip one we will never forget. His knowledge and skill was very apparent and Darrell switched up lines, lures and flashers to assure we caught fish. Darrell was a great teacher and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Don't have doubts, book and ask for Darrell!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
We had a great fishing day. We all caught our limit! Our captain really knew what he was doing for us to catch our limit. In addition he slowed down so we could take pictures of seal lions on a buoy. We would recommend this fishing excursion to anyone who wants to catch fish. Thank you for the best fishing tour we've ever taken.
I was yesterday with cliffs charter boat and the experience was amazing it was the biggest fish i've ever catched. The crew was super relaxed and all i don't like stressed boat people. They had also water and beer so i was happy with it.

Thanks Susan for the great review I hope you enjoyed the smoked salmon too!

Great day on the water. Daryl got us on fish immediately. You could tell he really knew what he was doing, and he made it an excellent trip. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back!

Thanks for joining us Nicolas!

Thanks Peter hope to see you again! Hope the wedding went good!
