Are you a fishing lover, or someone who never had the opportunity to try it? It’s time to “Seaze The Day” and spend it on the water with Captain Panagiotis and Minos. This dream team speaks both Greek and English and will do everything to show you Crete’s fascinating scenery and catch fish. They know the best fishing spots and make sure you come back to the marina with plenty of catch in the cooler.

The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 27’ inflatable Fost, which can accommodate up to 7 guests. Newly restored in 2019, this vessel is powered by a 250 HP F&N engine and comes with navigational and safety equipment. In case you would like to try snorkeling and see what’s going on beneath the surface, your captain will prepare snorkeling equipment, as well.

The captains usually take the boat 20–25 miles out but sometimes they go even further, up to 40–45 miles off the coast. It all depends on what you want to catch and which trip you booked. Each trip is different because it’s customized to your wishes. If you don’t want to spend the whole day fishing, you can simply go swimming or sightseeing. Your catch of the day will most likely be Grouper, Dentex, Snapper (Common Pandora), and Squids (Calamari).

The crew provides snacks, drinks, and lunch (under request). The captain will get in touch with you before the trip to check if you have any preferences or if there’s any type of food you’re avoiding. Your fishing equipment is also provided, while a fishing license is not necessary.
