Honey Badger Fishing Charters
Want to experience the best that the Gulf of Mexico’s offshore waters have to offer? Look no further than Honey Badger Fishing Charters! Captain Michael Beck and his friendly, experienced crew are fully licensed to take you into federal waters, which means you’ll come face-to-gills with some seriously huge, seriously tasty bottom-dwellers. Head down to Fort Myers Beach and get ready to pack your cooler with plenty of tasty table fare!
Capt. Michael fell in love with boating when he moved to Fort Myers from Pennsylvania. His passion for being out on the water inspired him to set up his own charter business. His main goal? To introduce anglers of all ages and skill levels to the incredible fishing opportunities that southwest Florida and the Gulf of Mexico holds!
Capt. Michael’s brand-new 2019 26’ Key West center console is capable of taking you and 5 other guests well beyond the 9-mile state waters limit. The vessel’s twin 250 HP Yamaha engines will allow you to travel to prime fishing spots faster, giving you more time to drop your line and pull up your catch. In addition, she’s decked out with top-notch safety and navigational gear, as well as a full toilet and life jackets for all ages.
Thanks to Capt. Michael’s federal pelagic and reef fishing permits, you’ll have the chance to explore less-fished waters for seriously huge (and delicious!) species. Newer anglers can travel up to 20 miles from shore to target Scup, Grunt, and more. If you want to take full advantage of federal waters, your captain will take you up to 50 miles out to hook Shark species, and huge Grouper and Snapper. Red Snapper can be found here, and the federal season generally runs from June to August.
In addition, Capt. Michael will make sure you’re decked out with top-quality rods, reels, bait, and tackle, as well as a fishing license for all guests. Come aboard Honey Badger Fishing Charters and experience the thrill of fishing for the biggest fish this part of the Gulf has to offer!
