If you’d like to explore the Newfoundland fishery and everything it has to offer, Hare Bay Adventures knows where to take you! With Captain Duane Collins at the helm, you can spend anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days on the water.
Your guide has been fishing in the Hare Bay ever since he could hold a rod, so it’s safe to say he knows the fishing grounds like the back of his hand. Capt. Duane offers a variety of fishing trips – from rowboat tours and Trout fishing to backcountry angling. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or a novice eager to earn his stripes, you’re going to have a great time.
You will be casting your line from a 16’ rowboat or from the shore, depending on your choice of the trip. All the necessary fishing equipment will wait for you on the boat, as well as drinks and lunch. If you opt-in for a multi-day expedition, accommodation and meals are included in the trip price.
Targeted species are usually Wild Brook Trout and Cod, but there are other species that could find their way to your line. Whatever you catch, the captain will clean and fillet for you, and you can even have a boil-up on a beach after a successful day of fishing.
In case you don’t have the time to buy fishing licenses, Capt. Duane will get them for you for a small additional charge.
Kids and families are welcome to fish with Capt. Duane – he goes the extra mile to make the exciting fishing experience accessible to everyone, no matter their age and physical abilities. With Hare Bay Adventures, new fishing horizons are one cast away!
