Capt. Daniel has been fishing for as long as he can remember. His father and grandfather got him into it at a young age and he hasn’t stopped since. Since then, he has spent 30 years on the Great Lakes perfecting his skills. He loves to show people how to fish and see their excitement in reeling in a beautiful fish.
Hop on board his 33’ Tiara boat. This has a covered cabin, so you’ll be protected from the elements on the ride to the fishing grounds. There’s enough space on the deck for 6 anglers to fish comfortably.
You’ll mostly be targeting king Salmon and Lake Trout on the trips in Frankfort. You might also be reeling in Brown Trout or Steelhead. You don’t need to have years of experience to have a fun day out with Capt. Daniel.
There’s no minimum age for children and there are life vests on board for them. They’ll have a great time fishing on this stable boat.
Included in the price of the trip are top quality rods and reels. These won’t let you down when reeling in your dream catch. After the trip, the first mate can fillet and package your catch for you at no additional charge.
You’ll need to bring snacks and drinks along. Alcohol is allowed. Everyone over 17 and older must have a fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online through the Michigan D.N R website.

Great day!
We had a great trip with our two children! Capt Dan and Ryan were kind and patient with all the kids’ (and adults’..) questions and we caught some big, beautiful salmon. We’d definitely book again.

Great time!
This was our first ever charter fishing trip. It was my husband, myself, our children and my 92 year old grandpa. We had a great time. Captain Daniel and his son Ryan were sos knowledgeable and very helpful to those of us who didn’t really know what we were doing. My grandpa has been a fisherman his whole life and has slowed down because of age. He had a blast and wants to go again next year! In total we caught 10 salmon, both coho and king. Can’t wait to cook them up!
