Capt. Daniel has been fishing for as long as he can remember. His father and grandfather got him into it at a young age and he hasn't stopped since. Since then, he has spent 30 years on the Great Lakes perfecting his skills. He loves to show people how to fish and see their excitement in reeling in a beautiful fish.
Hop on board his 33' Tiara boat. This has a covered cabin, so you'll be protected from the elements on the ride to the fishing grounds. There's enough space on the deck for 6 anglers to fish comfortably.
You'll mostly be targeting king Salmon and Lake Trout on the trips in Frankfort. You might also be reeling in Brown Trout or Steelhead. You don't need to have years of experience to have a fun day out with Capt. Daniel.
There's no minimum age for children and there are life vests on board for them. They'll have a great time fishing on this stable boat.
Included in the price of the trip are top quality rods and reels. These won't let you down when reeling in your dream catch. After the trip, the first mate can fillet and package your catch for you at no additional charge.
You'll need to bring snacks and drinks along. Alcohol is allowed. Everyone over 17 and older must have a fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online through the Michigan D.N R website.

Captain Dan and First Mate Ryan were super competent and went above and beyond to give us the best chance at catching fish as they could. And catch we did! We got a good bunch of king salmon and a steelhead trout, all pretty large! It was especially impressive, as apparently a lot of other charters were struggling to catch that day, but Dan found us a great spot. And Ryan did some magic with the rigging to help us keep more fish on hook, since that was another issue that'd been coming up. Not only that, but they were great conversation during the charter! And afterwards they gutted the fish for us very efficiently. Absolutely would go again!

We didn't catch any really big fish, but we did okay (6 total). The equipment was good. My only complaint is that the seats were really uncomfortable. I would bring a cushion to sit on next time. The kids all want to go again next year and that is the most important thing.

The boat was very comfortable, spacious and was ideal for both fishing and great views of the lake. Dan worked hard to deliver on the sport fishing aspect of the trip, specifically targeting kings. We ended up with a nice variety of fish including a large king, a steelhead, a coho, and a nice sized lake trout. Overall we had a great time and have nothing but the highest recommendation for Hooked Up. We certainly will be looking forward to our next time out. Thanks!

We had a great time. Captain Daniel and his son Ryan were sos knowledgeable and very helpful to those of us who didn’t really know what we were doing. My grandpa has been a fisherman his whole life and has slowed down because of age. He had a blast and wants to go again next year! In total we caught 10 salmon, both coho and king. Can’t wait to cook them up!

Like clockwork, dusk fishing had multiple on and even hit a 17lb King in the bunch. Nabbed a beautiful coho for an early evening starter. Jay fillets everything for you with surgical precision!

Any wise fisher would protect their secret productive spots so that it don't get blown up. I am inclined to do the same here. Fundamentally I do not want to tell you about Hooked Up because they my "secret spot" and I don't want you to blow it up. Soooo.... SSHH, don't tell anyone else, but every trip I've had with them has been great. On our last trip the action was unreal, we had out limit in an hour, just keep it to yourself :)
my dad and I had a stellar time with the father-son duo of Captain Dan and First Mate Ryan. beautiful boat, got us out ahead of schedule, got fish on as soon as we started putting out lines, filleted our catch to perfection when we got back. Captain Dan is super personable and a great conversation, really makes sure his clients are taken care of. highly suggest going out with Hooked Up if you have the chance!

We had a fantastic day out early in the season with Captain Dan on Hooked Up. These guys really knew where to fish and worked hard to find them. They kept a dozen rods in the water the whole time and were super friendly and patient with our kids (first-time anglers). The boat was well set up and comfortable for our group of 6. Great trip, highly recommend!
