Captain Hector delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. He clearly knows thee bay inside and out—he put us on fish quickly, and everyone in our group caught something. His command of the boat and the lines was impressive; everything ran smoothly and professionally the entire trip. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Most importantly, my kids had an absolute blast and felt included the whole time. Hector is a experienced captain. we caught everything we came to south padre for. He made our experience super enjoyable and he really tries to make sure you catch the fish you are looking for. he knows the spots and he knows what gig and what set up to use. if you are coming to south padre to do some bay fishing choose hector.

This was our first trip to South Padre. Finding the dock and pick up point was very easy. CPT Hector was on time and ready to fish. The bite started off slow but it didn't take long for CPT Hector to put us on the fish. We ended the day in an all out frenzy of a school of black drum. Will definitely be back for another trip with CPT Hector.

Hector was a great guide! His knowledge of the Laguna Madre and his experience as a fisherman are apparent. He worked hard the whole time ensuring the very best experience for us. My family & I had a great time with Capt Hector. Very friendly, nice boat ride, good music, plenty of space, and he delivered. We caught lots of speckle trout using jig heads drifting the potholes in the bay in late December. We will be using Hector again for our next trip!! Thanks for the great time.

My son loves fishing, so I chose SPI for his 16th weekend! I booked Hector based upon other reviews & he didn’t disappoint. This was our first trip to SPI, however, the charter for my son & husband! My husband said on our next trip down - he’d definitely want to charter out with Hector again!
