Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 19' Blue Wave bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Jerry will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Laguna Madre Madness!

Captain Jerry, was fantastic. Took my 12yr daughter for her first time. Captain took first 20-30 minutes to explain and give tips. Daughter had first fish in boat. She expressed having a blast. She had 21 fish on in the 3hrs we were out. I couldn't express how happy we were got the nicest 'Grandpa' as a captain. Anyone with little ones would be blessed. Thank you for a great experience.

I went there with 3 inexperienced 9yo and myself (also very little experience fishing). Captn Jerry was amazing helping everone out, making sure the kids were always taken care of. All of them got fishes, we could keep all but the excitement was there. We had to cut the trip short because of unexpected bad weather, but will book with Jerry when im back for sure
