You could find a wide array of favorite catches at the end of your line – from Catfish, Bass, and Walleye to Muskellunge, Northern Pike, Steelhead, and Salmon. Capt. Dennis specializes in using artificial lures to get the fish to bite, but using live bait is also an option if you prefer it.
Try your hand at a variety of techniques, from jigging to fly fishing, depending on what you're targeting. The captain will have rods and reels for you to use, so you don't have to bring your own. If you're a passionate fly fisherman, your guide can also provide fly fishing equipment.
Climb aboard a 21' Tuffy boat and your fishing adventure can begin. The vessel is equipped with a 250 HP Suzuki engine and can fit up to 4 anglers. On board, you'll find quality navigational electronics that will help you stay on the fish's trail, and outriggers to extend your reach. After the trip, you'll get your catch filleted and ready to serve as soon as you come home.

My wife, my 11-year-old son, and I had a great time fishing with Captain Dennis. He’s been doing it for decades and it shows. We caught several large walleye (22-27”) along with a perch that he filleted for us to eat for dinner and quite a few sheep head that we fed to the grateful pelicans. 🙂 I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and we’ll certainly use him again next time we are in Door County!
Captain Dennis was great! We had a good time with him. We caught what we were after, some nice perch and walleye! We went as a family. All you have to do is fillowhis instructions and you will be on yhe fish! Come with a good attitude and you will catch a lot. We would highly recommend booking with him! We will be back to join him again!
It was a bit windy when we went fishing but Captain Dennis still found us some good areas to fish. We caught walleye, perch and a musky!

Took my father and son fishing with Denise and we reeled in a 30.5" walleye...amazing!
Caught many small mouth bass and some rock bass. Saw a few large muskies but they wouldn’t bite for anyone. Overall great day , enjoyable conversation and successful catch. Thanks Dennis!

As I fished more tournaments for different species I became a consistent multi species angler. This year I'm working with Lathem Smith Lodge in Sturgeon Bay. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
