Beautiful day too!  But that was pure luck. Capt Dennis is great; he knows these waters, and his approach to fishing is a bit more thought out. In Sturgeon Bay, we did casting for the first hour, then moved out to Green Bay for trolling for walleye.  Did very well too; walleye, sheepshead, and even a large cat.  My sons and I weren’t mad at the fish - we just wanted to have fun, and Capt Dennis certainly is fun. He handled 100% of everything and was genuinely concerned about us having a good day. Very much recommended - thank you, Dennis, for the time we spent - you’re a super nice guy.

We chose the 11 AM-3 PM just a week before, which was full of cool and rainy days (for July), and wouldn’t you know it! It was sunny and warm for our day. That’s nice at first, but - in retrospect - the heat of the day meant not that many fish were biting. Captain Dennis was great. He was prepared and got us ready to fish! He caught a fish within 30 minutes, and we thought there would be so much more. We saw fish jumping, and we tried and tried, but I only caught a very small bass to get throw back. Captain threw back 2. My son didn’t get anything, other than lots of moss and weeds on the lures. However, the fast boat rides to all the locations on calm waters was fun for the kid. Captain even kept going past 3 PM (for another hour) in hopes we would finally get something. Just wasn’t gonna work out today. I guess choosing the earlier time (ugh) *could* have been more successful? Or how about a cool and rainy day!? Anyway, my son still had a positive attitude after all that and said he would like to go again. I would recommend Captain Dennis.

The fish weren’t biting.  I’m convinced if anybody could get the fish to bite, it was Dennis.  He tried everything.  Different colors, different depths, and different trolling speeds.  He has 17 years of tournament fishing experience.
We moved to a second lake because of the strong wind.  Same story.  We could see the fish on the electronics, but they just wouldn’t bite.  We caught 3 sheepsheads and two smaller walleyes.  We will definitely go with Dennis again.  He is a fascinating person, also.  Great experience.

Dennis was great and very knowledgeable. He took us to a few different spots on the Wolf River where we used crank baits and minnows. We caught a few bass and Walleye and when we were finished for the day Dennis quickly cleaned them up for us to take home. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend Dennis to anyone looking to have a nice stress-free day of fishing on the water!

Captain Dennis was great! He was prepared & ready to go. My son Charlie’s first time on a charter and his experience was Awesome! Dennis guided him through catching two King Salmon and I caught trout! We highly recommend Dennis. He’s experienced, skilled, precise and patient. What a great captain
