Explore the bountiful waters of the Platte River with Walleye King charters and redefine your idea of excellent fishing! With an experienced captain to reveal the best fishing grounds and take you to that superb bite, you’ll hear the reel scream in no time.
Coho Salmon is the ultimate catch in this area, along with Chinook, the king of all Salmon. Capt. Brian knows where these amazing fighters like to hide during their run through the river. The Salmon season on the Platte River starts in mid-August and it’s open until the end of September. The quantity and quality of fish you can hook in this short span of time is incredible.
You will rise with the sun and hit the water on a 19’ War Eagle boat. The boat is big enough to seat up to 2 anglers and has a 90 HP Yamaha engine to propel you to the honey holes. The boat is brand new, equipped with the latest electronics. You will spend 6 hours coming face-to-gills with Salmon, which is not only an amazing fighter, but even better table fare.
Capt. Brian will provide quality rods, reels, and tackle for your trip. If you’re a fly rodder, then you should bring your own gear. When you’re back on land, the captain will clean and fillet the catch for you, so you get to enjoy it as soon as you come home.
If you’d like your kids to get a taste of the thrilling Salmon action, you’re welcome to bring them, as long as they’re 12 and older. You will also need a valid fishing license, snacks, lunch, and drinks to keep you on the top of your game.
With Walleye King, memorable Salmon fishing adventures are one boat ride away!
