High Seas Charters - Ocean Hunter
High Seas Charters is owned and operated by Capt. Robbie Atwell, a local of Barbados who has been fishing the local waters since the age of 5 has since competed successfully in many local fishing tournaments. He encourages you to come on a charter with him and promises that although you may come as a guest, you will leave as a friend.
You will be fishing aboard the Ocean Hunter, a 42' custom-built sportfishing boat that can easily accommodate up to six anglers. The boat has a spacious cockpit and is equipped with all you need to catch some massive fish, with a range of marine electronics, a fighting chair and outriggers for effective trolling.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned pro. High Seas Charters will work with you to build the perfect fishing trip. Hardcore deep sea addicts will be taken out to the best waters as fast as possible to give you the maximum fishing time, while family groups will be taken to the more sheltered side of the island to enjoy some awesome hookups without the choppy waters.
Capt. Robbie prides himself on his strong customer focus. From adapting his trips to suit your needs to the little things like making sure you have food and drinks to keep you going, he does everything he can to make your trip perfect. So climb aboard and get ready for a day you will never forget!

Very good experience booking this trip . easy to book , very good communication .. efficient pick up and drop off . Felt safe on the boat with Robert and Hatch who know their stuff ! unfortunatley we only caught one small mackerel fish which was dissapointing but this was despite their best efforts ! There are some things no one can control ! Lovely to see barbados coastline from the boat . Thanks Robbie and Hatch .

Hi folks! I always recommend a full day charter. This is fishing they may bite in the morning or afternoon but your captain needs time to get you the fish. Captain Robbie and Hatch worked very hard all day and managed to landed a couple of nice Mahi Mahi. The sandwiches Mrs. Atwell made well delicious, thank you to her. I would be honored to recommend Captain Robbie and Hatch on the Ocean Hunter anytime!

Had an awesome fishing trip with Captain Robbie and Hatch. Brought my wife and two children (9yo boy and 6th girl) and everyone got in on the action! Captain Robbie and Hatch took great care of us as we trolled up and down the west side of the island. Caught two ~30+ pound wahoo and several small tuna. Return taxi service was provided which removed any stress from finding the launch point. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed in shore trip with family or friends. Will definitely sail with Captain Robbie again when we return to Barbados!

Captain Robbie and First Mate Hatch were both top notch. As soon as we got on board we felt welcomed. They explained how the trip would go, described the processes and let us know where to find all we needed on the boat. The snacks and refreshments were readily available. But, best of all, we caught fish. We ended up with 5 wahoo, the biggest was 35-40lbs. Highly recommend Ocean Hunter!

Communication with Captain Robbie was excellent from start to finish. We had a wonderful afternoon with Robbie and Hatch. We had warned our grandson that there are no guarantees to catch a fish. He caught 3 tuna and 2 barracuda. He lost 2 fish and I caught a tuna which we kept and ate. Highly recommend booking with Robbie.
