Ready to explore the diverse waters surrounding Chesapeake Bay? Look no further than It’s a Shore Thang! Captain Jeff Fackett has 5 decades of experience under his belt and knows all the best spots for inshore and offshore fishing in these waters. Whether it’s your first time holding a rod or you’re a seasoned pro, he’ll make sure you have a productive day!
You’ll be casting off of a 26’ Maycraft pilothouse that’s ideal for navigating various depths. She’s equipped with all of the safety and navigational equipment you need to pick a prime spot and have a sound journey. 4 anglers can all fish at the same time aboard this comfortable vessel.
Depending on what you’re in the mood for you, you’ll go after a variety of fun to catch fish. Stay in calm waters of the bay and you’ll reel in the likes of Redfish, Mackerel, and Black Drum. If you’re here during Rockfish (Striped Bass) season it goes with saying that you’ll be targeting the Bay’s most famous resident!
Don’t worry about bringing your own fishing gear, everything you need for a productive day of angling will be on board when you arrive. Just pack any snacks and drinks you’d like to enjoy throughout the trip.

Outstanding experience! Captain Jeff put us in great spots and kept the fish and rays on the lines all day! We landed some amazing cobia and my son hooked an eagle ray that put on a show! My friends an myself can’t thank captain Jeff enough for the amazing experience he provided on our trip. We had a blast and I definitely plan to come back! We got a 4 man limit of sea bass and got 2 monster black drum on top of it all. Don’t look any further if your booking a trip. This is the guy you want to go out with.
