This Colorado fishing guide offers various types of guided fishing trips through the year. You can fish from the boat in the spring, summer & fall. Then ice fish on a frozen lake during winter. Boat trips are great fishing fun, so come aboard his 19' Lund boat. She's equipped with a full compliment of comfortable seats, quality rods & reels, Minkotta trolling motor, chart plotter, and a quality sonar. The boat accommodates up to 4 guests. Trip Lengths available for 4, 6, & 8 hour trips.
You have several fishing location options to choose from including fishing on Boyd Lake at Boyd Lake State Park or at Carter Lake in Loveland Colorado; and Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, Colorado. Depending on season and which fish species you want to catch, you could be trolling, casting, or jigging. Your main targets for the day could be Rainbow Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, and Walleye depending on season & fishing location.
The captain will provide you with rods, reels, lures, jigs and bait. You'll need to purchase your Colorado fishing license before your trip and bring your food and drinks for the day.

Jed knows his stuff! He knows the best time and spots to catch each species and what will get them to bite. We got plenty of trout on Boyd Lake with unfavorable conditions. Would definitely recommend!
Jed put us on a lot of fish. We 3 caught our limit and then caught and released after. Great day and only boat on Lake Boyd. Perfect clear skies 34-60 degree day. Great resurrection Easter Day

Jen was very knowledgeable about the fishin and marine life in the are. We caught trout and white bass. Couldn’t get a walleye but he showed me what I needed for my lake in another state.
