Spend the day with JoeFish Guiding getting to know the waters around Fort Collins like never before.
The stunning scenery here includes remote lake waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
Around here it’s common to go light tackle fishing, which is what you’ll be doing on the day of your trip. You may also jig, spin or cast a popping cork for your catch. Joey will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Walleye, White Bass, Crappie, and whatever else takes the bait.
You’re welcome to keep any fish that meet regulations. Joey even offers clean your catch for you so it’s hassle-free when you get home. That’s dinner, right there! Your fishing machine will be a 17’ Tracker bass boat with room for 3 passengers.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group will need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and bottled water, no matter the weather.
This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring ‘em along and pack any snacks or extra clothing they need. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you’ll have to bring your own.
JoeFish Guiding is ready to take you out on the water. Time to make it happen!
