The Fish Fly Charter – Ludington
Go after delicious Salmon in the Great Lakes aboard “The Fish Fly Charters!” You’ll head out into Lake Michigan to see what freshwater fishing is all about with a local pro. Captain Jason “Jay” Gallagher has over 3 decades of experience in these waters and is all about having a good time on board.
You’ll head out on a 26’ Trophy walkaround boat, powered by a single 225 HP Mercury engine. She’s the ideal choice for 4 anglers who want to have a productive day on the water and has a ton of goodies to optimize your fishing. Downriggers, Fish Finder, and updated GPS all keep you on top of the fish. There’s also a portable toilet so you won’t have to make any stops.
It’s all about Chinook and Coho Salmon in these productive waters. Trolling is your best bet here and Capt. Jay ensures you have as many lines in the water as possible. There’s plenty of Steelhead this time of year too and any that you hook are an extra bonus for the cooler.
At the end of the trip, Capt. Jay is happy to clean and fillet your delicious fish to cook once you get home. He also provides top-notch Shimano, Okuma, Penn, Diana, and Ugly Sticks gear to make your job easier.
You’ll need to remember to pick up a valid Michigan fishing license before you arrive and you’re free to stock the onboard cooler with any drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy.
Take advantage of the summer Salmon run on Lake Michigan aboard The Fish Fly Charters!
