You'll be fishing the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal, Broadkill River, and the Rehoboth, Delaware, and Indian River Bays. Your main target species are Flounder, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Weakfish, Spadefish, and more! Capt. Dave specializes in a wide range of techniques and will employ whatever is necessary to put you on fish.
On longer 8-hour trips, you'll experience 2 full tides which increases your opportunities of catching some awesome species. The best time to fish is 2 hours prior to tide and Capt. Dave knows all the best spots to fish from during any time of day. In other words, you can count on him to put you in the right place at the right time! Shorter trips will most likely have you fishing one tide but there's still a good chance you'll be able to go home with something nice to grill up.
You'll be fishing from a 20' Pro-Line center console boat with state-of-the-art navigational and safety gear. The captain has 2 large live bait tanks and a smaller one for smaller fish. He has an icebox for you to store your catch and a cooler for you to keep snacks and drinks in.
You'll be provided with top-of-the-line Tsunami rods and Daiwa reels. Live bait is prepared before the trip and is included in the price as well. Your fishing license is also covered.

Captain Dave made this trip memorable for all of us. He knew exactly where to find the fish and made sure my sons and I all had successful catches. His patience and clear instruction kept everyone engaged and confident on the water, whether it was our first time or our hundredth. Captain Dave was great. My husband and I chartered a 4 hour trip. We fished the bay and then moved out to the ocean side of the breaker wall. We caught several different varieties of fish. I was happy to pull in a flounder! Captain Dave is knowledgeable about the area, and easy-going. I would highly recommend chartering with Captain Dave.

10/10. We have been to many fishing trips and Captain Dave is the best! We caught a lot of fish - flounders, croakers, spot, tog, toadfish, sea bass, and crabs that refused to let the bait go. The 6 hour trip ran fast with enjoyable memories, especially big flounders and tog to show off :). Will definitely book again in our next vacation!

Dave was fantastic. My son and I had a blast. Started out catching 20 or so croakers, got a flounder, a few annoying crabs, black bass in the intercoastal. Then we ventured out into the bay an caught more black bass, multiple toad fish and more! Constant action my son said it was his favorite trip. Great memories and photos.

Captain Dave had made a great afternoon of fishing for us. We didn’t go out very far but somehow caught a bunch of croakers and some flounder and crab. My kids and I enjoyed the break from the beach with a relaxing afternoon catching fish with great conversation. He directed us where to get the fish filet afterward and gave great directions on how to get to his boat as well. Overall 10/10 would love to come back next near and try for different fish!

I've been fishing the Delaware waters since I was a teenager, as my parents had a place in DE. Every weekend we used to head to the Delaware Bay for fishing. Times have changed since then, and so have my fishing techniques! I've kept up with the changes. I also run sea duck hunts out of the same bay, so I am on the water almost all year.
