Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks!
Capt. Mason welcomes you aboard a 27’ 271 Coastal Skiff with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. All the gear and tackle you need is provided.
It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish and crabs have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are sunglasses and sunblock. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had an incredible experience with Captain Mason of Crab Burner Charters! He went above and beyond with the boys—super knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to teach them all about crabbing and fishing. The kids loved getting up close with the crabs and learning the ropes, and Mason made the entire trip fun, educational, and exciting.
He specializes in kids fishing trips, and you can really tell he loves what he does. The boys are already talking about our next trip with him—we will definitely be back again soon!

We had the most amazing time on our very first fishing trip with our little ones, and it was all thanks to Mason! As first-time fishers with a three-year-old and a one-year-old in tow, we weren’t quite sure what to expect but Mason made the entire experience smooth, fun, and memorable.
He was incredibly patient and kind, taking the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. What really stood out was how wonderful he was with our kids, especially helping our older son work through his fear of fish and crabs. By the end of the trip, our son was smiling, curious, and even excited to hold a crab!

I recently went on a morning fishing trip that exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we boarded, our captain made us feel welcome with his great personality and vast knowledge of the area. He was attentive and ensured everyone on the boat was having a fantastic time.
We caught a lot of fish, which made the experience even more thrilling! What surprised me the most was my daughter, who wasn’t initially keen on going, ended up having such a blast that she asked if we could go again the very next day! That says it all about the awesome time we had.
If you’re looking for a fun and memorable fishing adventure, I highly recommend this boat and crew! You won’t regret it!

Our family of 3 had an amazing time - and our teenage son, who is generally crabby about waaaay too many things - had a blast!
Mason is knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind, patient, personable - we truly couldn't have asked for a better person to take us.
We felt as if we were hanging out with an old friend who also happened to have a boat and all things needed to fish and catch crabs - not someone who we just met.
Our friendly competition ended with our son (who started off catching nothing) winning after catching 19 fish - he caught 2 fish at a time three separate times!! - my husband catching 18 and I caught 16 fish.
On the way back we pulled up some crab traps and Mason explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. We learned a great deal.
This was our first trip to the area and if we ever come back, we are definitely going to "hook up" with Mason again.
Thank you for a fantastic afternoon, Mason! You're an absolute gem!

Okay this was awesome great techniques incredible captain perfect boat he even had bug spray and on our first trip with him there was going to be some rain and he told us that if we want to head in because he didn’t want to get us soaking wet we could come back at three pm we also caught a lot of crab we caught some huge ones to and we caught 20 fish and they weren’t even small we caught two black drum five sheep’s head. In only TWO TRIPS. 100000000% RECOMMEND THIS TRIP TO EVERY ONE.
