Capt. Mason welcomes you aboard a 27' 271 Coastal Skiff with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. All the gear and tackle you need is provided.
It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish and crabs have special regulations, including when you can keep them. We had an absolutely incredible experience with Crab Burner Charters! Captain Mason was fantastic from start to finish. He kept everyone on the boat entertained, involved, and laughing the entire trip, especially our two boys (ages 6 and 8). The fishing was outstanding, and Captain Mason made sure the kids had every opportunity to catch fish and have fun. His patience, knowledge, and ability to keep young kids engaged made the trip unforgettable. Our boys haven’t stopped talking about it and are already asking when we can go again! We had a great experience with Crab Burner Charters today on a 3-hour fishing trip in the bay. I took my two sons, and as beginners, we weren't quite sure what to expect. Captain Mason immediately made us feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and had us fishing confidently in no time. Even better, we were catching fish almost right away, which made the trip exciting for all of us. Captain Mason was patient, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. I would highly recommend Crab Burner Charters to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable fishing trip in the Dewey Beach area.
We had an absolute blast catching crabs with Captain Mason! I originally booked this trip for my little girl’s birthday, but I think I ended up having the most fun. Captain Mason was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and great with kids. He made the experience enjoyable for everyone while teaching us so much along the way. The boat ride was smooth and comfortable, and the pace was perfect for our family. I had my 2-year-old and 5-year-old daughters with me, and they stayed entertained the entire time. It was such a memorable experience, and we can’t wait to come back and do it again!
We had the best time fishing (lost track of how many) and learning about the bay. We saw dolphins, tons of coastal birds, stingrays, a terrapin and absolutely stunning views of the bay. We are looking forward to coming back next summer and booking again with Crab Burner Charters. Capt Mason was excellent with communication and Capt Nick was an excellent stand in with tons of knowledge.
We did the three hour crabbing and it was the best time we had as a family. I have three kids. 9,7 and 4. Mason was very patient with all of them and took the time to explain the process. It was an educational experience. Would recommend to anyone. We will definitely be hiring Mason for our next fishing/crabbing trip.
