Steve is proud to run a family charter business that has operated in this area for years and continues to stand strong. With a wealth of experience, skills, and local knowledge under his belt, he’ll do everything he can to get you on the catch of a lifetime.

Capt. Steve launches his fully customizable, multi-day adventure out of Port Hardy. This location is the perfect place to escape for a few days! It’s home to some truly stunning scenery and pristine waterways, as well as a wide range of tasty fish that are seriously fun to catch. There are 5 species of Salmon available here, including huge Chinook and hard-fighting Coho. You’ll also be able to target Rockfish, delicious Lingcod, huge Tuna, and plenty of other favorites.

You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 27’ Sea Ray sportfishing vessel, capable of accommodating up to 2 guests. She’s decked out with a full toilet to ensure you have a comfortable journey and is equipped with GPS, rods and reels, and a fishfinder to sound out what these waters hold. Lodge accommodation is also included, so contact your captain for more information.

No matter your skill level, your captain has the rods, reels, boat, and experience to take you on the perfect adventure, so get ready to escape from the stresses and strains of the real world for a little while. Capt. Steven Cahill heads a family-run charter business operating out of the quiet fishing town of Port McNeill. He welcomes anglers of any age to spend some time fishing around Vancouver Island, and will happily teach beginners how to reel in their first fish. Capt. Steve grew up fishing his local lakes with his father and is proud to work alongside his family every day.
