The vessel you will be fishing aboard is the 'Straight Up With a Twist'. This 31' Bertram sportfisherman was completely overhauled in 2013, and comes ready for battle with the latest tech and equipment.
The vessel is equipped with GPS and fishfinder to sound out the deep in search of the biggest fish. Once in place, her outriggers will let you target these fast-moving predators and her fighting chair will help you wrestle in even the biggest of bluewater beasts.
The Straight Up With a Twist also has plenty of comforts to keep you happy, with an air-conditioned interior, an enclosed head and plenty of space to relax in the cool after hard-fought battles on deck. She also has a flybridge to take in the area's stunning scenery on your way to and from the fishing grounds.

Full Day Trip on July 12, 2019 • 4 adultsGreat day fishing on Straight Up with a Twist- we landed 4- 50+ pound Yellowfin Tuna and I had an epic fight with a what thought to be a 200 lbs yellowfin but after 45 mins I pulled the hook. Captain Memo was the best, he put us on the big fish and after I lost my big fish he went back and got more Bonito for bait and went back out and got me my Yellowfin. Our Mate Jose was so much fun and worked his butt off, he a great chef, bartender, fishermen and ball buster!!!! My wife which doesn’t like to fish even got a 50 lb yellowfin! Awesome day with the crew on Straight Up with a Twist.

Full Day Trip on July 8, 2017 • 3 adultsWell, we knew we were fishing out of season so kept our expectations reasonable. Crew constantly worked on bait and lines to make every chance possible. We hooked two marlin but they not pulled off; we were able to reel in a sail and a mahi. Boat is clean, well stocked and ready to go when you get there. Lunch was surprisingly good! But it's the crew that really make he trip suck a joy...view doesn't hurt!

The crew were friendly and very dillagent in their jobs. Excellent fun!! Check catch a billfish off my bucket list. You should come and fish with the crew of "Strait up with a twist". Full Day Trip on February 15, 2014Booked the Straight Up with Capt. Memo and Randall. These guys are experts for fishing! These guys know what they're doing. Experest from Los Suenos in Costa Rica. It was an outstanding fishing trip! We hooked 10 sailfish (released all of them), eight HUGE Mahi Mahi and some Bonito. Boat and crew were excellent and have no doubts recommending Straight Up to anyone. Worth every penny!

Memo worked his magic brought us home with several good eating fish but nothing to show at the dock! I t was a great day and I'll be be coming back!

Seemed to be the only boat out actually catching anything! For a slow day we missed a marlin , landed 4 good sailfish and a very tasty mahi mahi . By the end of the day we were the most exhausted and happy fishermen. The captain and crew worked non stop ! Dont know they lasted in that heat ! Hats off to them .
