Captain Lee Samson has over 40 years of experience fishing Lake Ontario and has landed some massive Chinook in his day, including a 35-pounder. He's won several local tournaments and he possesses all the right skills to show you an incredible time on the water!
You'll be fishing off of a 30' Baha offshore sportfisher, equipped with outriggers, downriggers, dipsy divers, side planers, and state-of-the-art Garmin navigational electronics. This boat is fully-loaded with all of the amenities you need for a successful day, plus more. She has a private toilet, a bed, plenty of comfy seating, and a hardtop to protect against bad weather. Last but not least, you'll be provided with top-quality rods and reels to ensure the best fishing experience possible.
You'll be trolling for Chinook, Coho, and Atlantic Salmon, as well as Rainbow, Lake, and Brown Trout. Capt. Lee uses Big Jon downriggers, side planers, and dipsy divers for trolling so he covers lots of ground, resulting in efficient numbers. When it's time to call it a day, you'll have your catch cleaned so you can enjoy a delicious Salmon or Trout fillet when you get home.
Just be sure to purchase an NYS fishing license and arrive 10 minutes before the departure time. You can buy your license online for $10, it only takes a few minutes, and it's very easy to do.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, and be sure to pack an extra layer of clothing in case it gets windy. Capt. Pursuers Charters crew was excellent. Took : relatives, who were first time Salmon fishing They all had a great experience. The crew was patient as they worked them through landing 12 nice size fish. Would highly recommend.
