Get ready for the chase of a lifetime and have Pursuer Charters put you on some incredible King Salmon! Captain Lee Samson has over 40 years of experience fishing Lake Ontario and has landed some massive Chinook in his day, including a 35-pounder. He's won several local tournaments and he possesses all the right skills to show you an incredible time on the water!
You'll be fishing off of a 30' Baha offshore sportfisher, equipped with outriggers, downriggers, dipsy divers, side planers, and state-of-the-art Garmin navigational electronics. This boat is fully-loaded with all of the amenities you need for a successful day, plus more. She has a private toilet, a bed, plenty of comfy seating, and a hardtop to protect against bad weather. Last but not least, you'll be provided with top-quality rods and reels to ensure the best fishing experience possible.
You'll be trolling for Chinook, Coho, and Atlantic Salmon, as well as Rainbow, Lake, and Brown Trout. Capt. Lee uses Big Jon downriggers, side planers, and dipsy divers for trolling so he covers lots of ground, resulting in efficient numbers. When it's time to call it a day, you'll have your catch cleaned so you can enjoy a delicious Salmon or Trout fillet when you get home.
Just be sure to purchase an NYS fishing license and arrive 10 minutes before the departure time. You can buy your license online for $10, it only takes a few minutes, and it's very easy to do.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, and be sure to pack an extra layer of clothing in case it gets windy. Capt. Lee and Mike are top notch when it comes to professionalism, knowledge, and extremely friendly. My father , whose been fishing his entire life and has been in many charters said it was the best experience he’s ever had . My son , 1st Time on. Charter , was in his glory as he caught four huge salmon. Please, if you’re going in search for a charter , look no further -you found it. We had great family time. The Captain and his assistant were wonderful. The were very knowledgeable and put us right on the fish. We caught some beautiful rainbow trout and some monster size Salmon. Would for sure recommend them to anyone looks for a great fishing experience.

Half Day Trip on June 11, 2019Wow, what a great day! Captain Lee Samson had us on fish and consistently hooked us up with drag-screaming, silver King Salmon. The captain and crew did a wonderful job adjusting lines & baits until we were in the strike zone. The boat is set up nicely for fishing. The wide beam provides plenty of room for fishermen and the crew to move about, and has ample seating for all. The experienced crew is totally focused on the providing customers a fun fishing experience. I will be going back again this summer, can't wait!

Fishing experience was short because of impending thunder storms. Captain Lee chose safety and got us to shore before a large storm hit. Him and mate Mike are very knowledgeable and full of great fishing stories. Going back in a couple of days after the storm system passes through. Looking forward to getting back out fishing!

Pursuers Charters crew was excellent. Took : relatives, who were first time Salmon fishing They all had a great experience. The crew was patient as they worked them through landing 12 nice size fish. Would highly recommend.

He's been fishing Lake Ontario since he was a young boy and knows how to read these waters like a book. Capt. Lee is also a 2-time Niagara Fishing Derby champion and has placed in several other local tournaments on Lake Ontario. His biggest catch of all time is a 35 lb King Salmon and he's caught tons of big Trout and other freshwater species. Capt. Lee welcomes anglers of all levels of experience on board.
