In the nearshore waters of Louisiana, you can fetch yourself some superb game.Captain Gary Peloquin has been guiding people on these waters for 30 years and knows exactly where to take you for a splendid day of fishing.
He'll take you out on his customized 24' Haynie bay boat. This lightweight craft is powered by a huge 300 HP Suzuki engine that can take you up to high speeds of 55 knots. These flying speeds mean that you'll be able to reach the region's best fishing spots in no time at all.
Captain Gary tends to use light tackle when you're on the hunt for the best fish in the area. Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout are among your most likely catches in these waters. He'll clean the catch for you so it's ready to be put straight in the pan or oven once you're home.
You'll use light tackle for this fishing and there's a good range of rods for you to select. Lures are provided but live bait can also be provided with a $45/55 surcharge, which will be collected from the marina before your trip.
The drinks are included in the price, but you'll need to take some food, sunshades, suncream, and rain gear with you. You'll also need to get a $10 fishing license before your trip that can be bought at the marina or online. Once you've got all your stuff, all you need to do is wait for the fish to bite.

Captain Gary had the knowledge to read conditions, and move us to the right locations for the conditions and put us on a 4 man limit of reds, along with numerous catches of fish. He would try a spot and we'd work it till it became obvious we needed to "make a move", which we did frequently. Capt Gary was very helpful and knowledgable, put us on fish on a half day trip. We caught fish in several locations and ended up with quite a few keepers. I would highly recommend his services.

Captain Justin was great at recognizing the skill level of the anglers in our group and providing assistance when needed. The conditions were very windy but Captain Justin took us to places out of the wind to provide a safe, fun, and productive fishing trip. Captain Justin had a great sense of humor and made the trip fun.
