Offshore fishing in Bissau is as fun as it is varied. Book a trip with West Africa Hunting And Fishing Company today to see for yourself! You’ll spend the day with Captain Carlos, a local who can speak Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese. He runs trips in multiple locations, so click his bio below to see where else he can take you fishing.
Hop on board his 36’ Astinor vessel. Groups of 4 will have plenty of space to fish on this spacious and comfortable boat. There’s plenty of shade and seating for your group. There is a first mate with you on all trips who will work hard on your behalf. It’s the industry standard to tip 15% of the total trip price to the first mate at the end of the trip.
You’ll be able to catch a variety of species on these trips, which will see you heading anywhere from 20 to 120 miles offshore. This gives you the opportunity to target Swordfish, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Barracuda, and plenty of other species.
Included in the price of your trip are top-quality rods and reels from Shimano and Penn. These are perfect for reeling in big fish! You can also request to use spearfishing or fly fishing equipment. Let the captain know before the trip and he can bring them along for you. There are 2 spears available and no previous experience is needed to try this.
The fishing license for your group is also included, along with live bait, and catch cleaning after the trip. Snacks and drinks are provided on all trips, and 3 meals a day are included on the 24-hour trip.
Grab your sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, and you’ll be ready to go on the day trips. For the overnight trip, don’t forget your toiletries and pajamas, too.
There’s no better time to book a trip with West Africa Hunting And Fishing Company! Your whole group will have a great story to tell after an adventure with Capt. Carlos and his crew.
