Went out with Mike with my 2 boys, 15 and 12. We caught a bunch of fish including a 25lb salmon! Mike was great with the boys, and very knowledgeable of the area. Great time

I have fished in many places with many guides but our day fishing with Mike and Anglers Edge will be a cherished fishing memory for my son and I. Mike put us on the fish immediately, which led to virtually non stop action from the moment he found his spot. We were fortunate to come at a time when the fishing was good, but Mike also was clearly outfishing the rest of the fleet on the day we were aboard. We were blessed with a perfect day aboard Capt Mike's well equipped 24' Grady White. My son, who is 7, and myself are very interested in all marine eco systems, and Mike was able to answer all of our questions with his wealth of knowledge about his local fishery. He clearly has a passion for the marine eco system he is a part of. Mike is excellent with young children, my son is a capable angler, but listened to all of Mike's advice and very much enjoyed his time spent with Mike. He's a better fisherman for it! Mike's tackle and equipment is first class, and he is meticulous about his tackle and his technque, emphasized by put hook up ratio being almost 100% for the day. In all we released 13 salmon on our morning charter, almost all over 15lbs and several being in the 20lb class. Mike also assisted us in registering one kept fish of 23.6 lbs for the Ontario Salmon Derby, which will be a great memory for my son. All in all we had a truly wonderful experience with Capt. Mike. From the second we stepped on board to the second we shook hands to say good bye our experience was absolutely first class. Mike is a world class capt with a wealth of experience and excellent attention to detail. Both my son and I highly recommend Capt Mike and Anglers Edge for your Salmon fishing experience. As above our day aboard with Capt Mike will go down as a cherished memory and among our top fishing experiences ever. Also of note, Mike was extremely responsive during the booking process. Our original date did not work for Mike so we worked incredibly quickly to find us a new date that worked for us. He responded to all my messages within minutes on the booking engine. PLEASE NOTE: If you are booking via the fish booker engine the amount for payment quoted post deposit is in USD, NOT CAD, so you will need to do the conversion to ensure you have the correct amount on the day. We had an awesome fishing trip with Mike today. Super patient captain who was looking out for a family of beginners inluding 2 sleepy teens with lots of enthusiasm and knowledge about the fish we pulled onboard as well as the great lakes in general. Definitely would recommend and happy to be back when the next opportunity comes along.

Mike never stops doing things that add to this incredible fishing experience and amazing boat ride. Taking 20 minutes to reel in a beautiful Chinook salmon is an experience everyone should have. The gorgeous view of Scarborough Bluffs and the iconic Toronto skyline add to a memorable trip. Could not have been better! Thankyou Captain Mike!
