Are you ready for the first-class fishing action that prolific waters of San José del Cabo have to offer? Then team up with Sportfishing Vencedora and Captain Nino Rossin and they will make it their business to take you to the most productive fish hideouts!
If you're an avid game fish chaser and you're on the lookout for your next trophy catch, San José del Cabo is the place to be. You can prowl inshore and nearshore waters for the massive Roosterfish that thrive here, as well as Jack Crevalle, Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack. All of these will fight hard and long before you get them onto the boat.
Billfish aficionados won't be disappointed either. The offshore waters here are the playground of Sailfish and Blue Marlin, each bigger and fiercer than the last. Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and many more are on the menu as well. Bear in mind that Roosterfish, Marlin, and Sailfish are strictly catch and release, but there are plenty of delicious species you can keep.
You don't have to worry about conventional fishing equipment, as your guide will have quality rods, reels, and terminal tackle on board. If you'd like to fly fish, it's possible as long as you notify your captain in advance and bring your own fly fishing gear. Live bait is also available for an additional charge.
To start off your fishing day, you'll come aboard your captain's 28' panga named 'Vencedora,' outfitted with a single 150 HP Honda engine. The vessel is spacious enough for up to 4 anglers to fish at the same time. There's plenty of seating on the boat, as well as a private toilet for your convenience.
Families are welcome on trips with Capt. Nino, and he'll provide life jackets for everyone. Before you come aboard, remember to buy a fishing license, as well as some snacks and food to keep your strength up while fighting your catch.
Come on a trip with Sportfishing Vencedora today and discover new fishing horizons!

We had amazing time fishing with Vencedora Sportfishing. We started off picking up some live bait then started fishing soon thereafter. The whale watching was amazing early in the morning this time of year as well. We started off hooking up with some Dorado on the troll then started live bait fishing. We caught some bonito and then hooked up with a big yellowfin tuna and some large Dorado. The captain and crew were great and as we were about to head in we saw a Marlin. We used one of the small bonito as bait and hooked up with the Marlin that put up a fun fight. Couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. They even connected me with a fish processor who vacuum sealed and froze the fish for us so we could bring some tuna and Dorado home. Great trip!
Cpt. Pollo was fantastic, he worked incredibly hard to get us on fish and keep us on fish almost all day. we caught a massive Wahoo that was a beast to fight, a nice red snapper, two tuna, and two triggerfish. It was great to catch a variety of fish through the different methods he put in place. We were thrilled with the experience, we went fishing in CSL a few years ago and this trip blew it out of the water. True effort was put into the trip and to make it worthwhile for us, a real fisherman's fisherman. Book it, you wont be sorry.
We started the day walking up to the boat where the captain and first mate speak very very little english. You have to pay $30 to another boat for the bait when out on the water. I bought our fishing licenses online while driving out of the marina, he said we could buy one at the marina but noone brought us to get one when i told him we still needed it. We started the day catching Sierra, Rooster fish and Jack crevalleI on live bait. Nino asked us if we wanted to go fish for dorado. We decided we had enough and wanted to try something else. We were able to catch 2 dorado with one being pretty nice. At about 11:30 he asked if we still wanted to keep fishing or go back. We decided we were fine going in early. I gave them a 4 star rating because we were on fish most of the entire morning. It would of been a 1 star if we didnt catch fish and couldn't communicate. Brush up on your spanish before your next fishing trip.
Captian was on time. there was good parking at the marina and could buy your license right there. We hit the water at sunrize and were onto mahi mahi right away once finding the birds we fished live bait for tuna and got a few beauties. very experienced captain and deckhand. my wife and i only speak english and even with the language barrierit was a great comfortable trip.
Captain is very knowledgable, old school , very windy conditions, really small live bait ,, still productive, definitely would go again next vacation!! My wife and I had a great time , Gracias Nino
